The first reso I bought was in 1974 and it was a round neck metal
bodied Dobro. I've been through a number of guitars since then but no
matter how many wood bodied squarenecks I end up with, I try to
always have a metal bodied round neck around - nowadays an old
National - for playing blues, mostly. - Dave
