If the new Gibson comes with a straight plain Jane maple bridge I just
happen to have a couple of sets of Silvio Ferreti's Scorpion Bridge inserts
lying around and the Gibson will be wearing a set before the weekend is out.
*S*.... Silvio's Maple and Purple top bridges really do rock! The UPS
truck is on the way three hours to delivery time. Jeez.....

I have a 2001 Gibson F-60. It has been upgraded with ebony capped maple
bridge and bone nut, stock cone. I am very satisfied with it and have had
others (with skills much better than mine) play it and it always gets good
reveiws. I have had the cover plate off, cone out and the interior
workmanship is very good, no sloppy joints or excess glue. It is flamed
maple and a great looking reso. In fact when people get up close and see
the Dobro logo they are always surprised it is not a custom reso
