Nuts.
I made mine from a bone reso nut. I cut it down, cut it in two, sanded it
until it fit. It was only a couple of bucks. More effort than expense, but
it made a difference. Let's see, how to describe it in words... I've made
two adjustments to my OMI Dobro. I put in a quarterman cone replacing the
original cone. Replacing the bridge inserts did not make _that_ big a
difference in the tone--but it was close! With both improvements, the sound
moves the old box into the realm of some newer reso's. Still not in the
same league as 'Horns and Beards, but better than stock.
