Hey everybody,
For various reasons, I haven't posted on the list in a while. Wish I could
say it's because I've been playing and practicing more, but . . . Anyway,
I just had to break out of lurk mode after having played around with Pete
Reichwein's ScaleAnalyzer application. Pete, that is really a nifty piece
of work. It's appearance happened to coincide with me trying to delve a
little deeper into the key of E. And combined with the Dobro Scales
document, this is a great set of tools. Actually makes running scales fun.
A very thoughtful feature is the "Emphasize Note" panel. For example, by
selecting 1-3-5 you can see the major chord patterns within the scales.
Someone awhile back was looking for a chart of chord patterns. Well, this
is about as good as it gets. And the ability to generate and print
tab--very cool. Thank you for all your work on this.
