My wife gave me Jimmy''s "Become a Better Dobro Player - Overnight"
for Christmas and I would recommend it to beginners and intermediates
alike. There are a lot of "tips" on playing open string chords,
circular patterns or loops (a nice dissection of Fireball Mail) and a
host of nuggets of wisdom about playing better (-overnight!). I've
plunked the dobro for almost 30 years and I think I just learned how
to put my picks on properly. Pretty cool. Thanks, Jim! - Dave
