Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Fretboard trivia question
Date:Sunday, January 1, 2006  20:14:52 (-0600)
From:kbrown <kbrown @...........edu>

Lester Flatt's famous guitar had "L-5" inlaid near the end of the fretboard. The
"L" stood for Mike Longworth, who did the inlay work, and the "5" indicated that
this was the fifth inlay job he'd done.

For whom was the third inlay job done?

The first person who answers it correctly gets.... um... absolutely nothing.
Heh, heh!

Ken Brown
Austin, Texas

I have a square neck and it's inlaid with beer and salsa verde stains.

P.S. Bonus trivia factoid: the past tense form of "inlay" is "inlaid," not
"inlayed."
