=> It is in fact more contentious, ill-spirited and off-topic than ever, but
still worth reading. Do what I do. Don't subscribe, but read the BGRASS-L
archives on the web. There's very little lag time now. Messages generally
appear in the archives the same day they're mailed.
Just Google "BGRASS-L," find the archive, and bookmark it. I read it a couple
of times every day.
And yes, as Pooh pointed out, there is an extensive discussion still going on
about downloads, tape trading, bootlegs, copyrights and so forth. it started a
couple of weekds ago. Go to the archives for the last two weeks, sort by topic
and look for "downloads" and related threads if you want to read up on it.
