I've been doing some research for a friend of mine, which
led me to look through my collection of old magazines,
and I ran across some great articles, such as the Aug.
1985 issue of "Frets" magazine. It has an excellent
lesson by none other than Pete Grant called "High
G Tuning"
Also, an article called "Fretboard Patterns and Slant Tricks"
by..Bob Brozman. And, another article by Bob called
"Slidin' Steel. Development of an American Native: The Resophonic Guitar".
Another small article by a Phil Hood called "Dobro, Valco, and O.M.I.
the checkered history of Dobro manufacturing".
Beats all what you will run into when you get looking at
things you have long since forgotten about. Jim Warren
