Hello:
in order to fund another purchase, I have decided to sell my Weissenborn.
It was built about 4 or 5 years ago by a Colorado picker and part-time
luthier, Charlie Bailey.
Tonally, it is beautiful, very responsive and has a ton of overtones. It's
koa with a redwood top, ebony headstock and fingerboard and abalone
inlays. The fingerboard markers are the phases of the moon, and the fret
lines are ivoroid. It is also bound with ivoroid on the top and
fingerboard. The soundhole rosette is a single abalone ring.
There are no cracks. It has a few pecks here and there and finish checking
on the top.
Please email for more information and pictures.
Thanks,
Keith Hunter
