Thank you Lynn, your reply works with that of Ken Brown's. And I have a better
understanding of where I may be coming from, with loss of hearing issues.
It's subtle for now. Sometimes, a voice speaking to me will just drop out. With
playback devices, I have no problem.
With fest sounds, mixes, and stage sounds, I have no problem.
It's just conversational, and it's certainly in jam situations. Which is what's
most important to me at this stage in my pursuit of music.
I hate missing out on what key and the changes to the song are, when they are
being shared and I can't hear them.
N that, is leading me to wonder, am I leaning too far in my reso setups, future
purchases, etc. Thanks again for your responses, good stuff that I printed and
saved those harmonic ranges of the ear!
Oliver. Hmmmm . . . Randy Oliver was an AWESOME baseball player years ago.
Pittsburgh Pirates, I think! lol
And Randy Oliver is an AWESOME reso player, although, I'd hafta google it up to
recall where I heard of him. The name just sticks from somewhere in my dead
memory bank.
So? Any Randy Oliver's in your past or present lives? ;-)
