ok...ok,
It's not that I find Fast Fret to be totally useless.
I might occasionally use it on the unwound strings to wipe mountains of
c**p off during a practice. But, when using on wound strings, the same
wonder chemical ends up depositing it's "miracle" stuff between the
windings, making for a slick, dead string.
Let's face it...if the string is that bad, isn't it time to bite the
bullet and replace them? :-)
Besides, if you dig the Euphonon strings at $2.50/set money should not
be an issue.
I bought my can of Fast Fret in the mid 80's. At the rate I'm using it,
it'll be cremated with me in another 25-30 years (or so).
Just my .02 of course.
