Dang, Mr. Deneve. I'm not sure what it is I want to know anymore! lol
Seems the more I learn in here, the more I am curious. <smile>
I was an abject failure in shop, and with most tools, except for workin on my
old motor cycles in the 70's n 80's . . . n I wasn't the type EVER to tear an
engine down and rebuild it.
I never really knew much about carpentry. Actually, I know nothing, not even
now.
I love your descrip of rip v. crosscut. N them other definitions beyond. Another
print job for my binder. I'll bet you have been a GREAT shop teacher for many an
interested person . . . . <smile>
I will digest the band saw info in another era, a bit much for me right now . .
. . . . . The other stuff, I can wrassle with.
Man, I love this town . . . . . I'll never be a luthier myself, but man, with
all this help, I'll know enough to help others and be able to pay all of this
forward when I get the opportunity, and I'll be able to pay respect to the craft
when I do so.
What an ABSOLUTE honor to learn, however feebly I do, from all of you luthiers
and players folks.
Wow. I really am quite taken by this list at times . . . thanks.
Poob, big wow factor ya know . . . . thanks! <smile>
