I would definitely agree with Dewey.  That being said, given a consistent 
setup, the type of wood will flavor the sound.  To my ear it constitutes 
about 10% of the total presentation of the guitar.  Albeit relatively 
minimal, that 10% may suit, complement or direct your playing style quite a 
bit.
