Okay I've kept silent long enough!!! I've been following this very interesting
thread about tuners, the Sabine, the Intellitouch some kinda exotic strobe tuners
I've never even heard about, and then there's "clips" for better picking up of
the guitar, to use with some tuners, and you can use harmonics to help the
Intelitouch.....and so on and so forth, into infinity. I even saw a neat and
inexpensive (cheap even) Korg Chromatic CA 30 at last weekend's Jimmy Heffernan
Workshop in Boston, Ma. Jimmy uses and likes this thing and it's like $20 bucks!
Jimmy just laid this thing atop his guitar and it seemed to work fine. In fact I
think St. Mike had one of these with a small square of Velcro on his coverplate
and on the back of the tuner.......
Now my question, should anyone choose to answer it, (and I ask with tongue in
cheek), is "What kinda tuner do those "ojnab" players use???
(Ahem, ..... I don't think I've ever seen a banjo player use a tuner, geez?)
Ducking for cover and not signing this one ona bet!
"Guess who?"
