Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] what tuner do you use? And WHY???
Date:Friday, January 27, 2006  21:12:35 (-0600)
From:Wayne Langdon <wlangdon @......com>

I come to the Resophonic guitar from the Banjo. This drum on a stick is
indeed affected by temperature and humidity changes. The strings will go
sharp or flat in a heartbeat depending on the humidity. That said I can
leave both my banjos set for a day or two and come back to them and find
them still pretty much in tune.
BUT even my new F-60 Dobro and the Regal RD-45 react the same I've noticed.
Sometimes rock solid but as often as not with a humidity change they go
flat. Two by Four neck and ropes for strings notwithstanding they still
change with the weather.
