Methinks there is some moral relativism here. I mean, a banjo without 
strings is still "pretty much in tune."

I have a banjo playing friend who tunes with an Intellitouch. He 
doesn't clip it to anything, but just lays it along the top of the 
rim. I mean, does it really matter?
