Have you guys had any experience with the pick-up-the-world tranducers?

You should check into the Fishman (passive or active) and the Schertler
(Basik). To my ear both provide tremendous improvements over other reso
pickups. Both have some installation hurdles but offer much more acoustic
sounding signals. The Fishman sounds brighter... the Schertler sounds
warmer & thicker but requires "phantom" type power which is provided/handled
by one of two different power adapters (included with the pickup). I've
got sample recordings of both that I can post this weekend.
