Subject:RE: [RESOGUIT-L]Instrument Stability (Was what tuner do you use? And WHY???)
Date:Saturday, January 28, 2006  10:52:42 (-0800)
From:Lynn Oliver <chief06 @.......net>

When I go to rehearsals and gigs my banjos always need to be tuned. And
tuned again between sets. I'm new to dobro and haven't taken my dobro to a
gig yet. It does seem to stay in tune when I go to a lesson.

What surprises me is that my squareneck needs to be retuned so often in my
practice studio. Still, it gets played the most and has strings changed
more often, and either could be the reason. At least it gives me lots of
practice learning to tune by ear.

Lynn
