I'm not a Beard employee either, altho if I was still in the work force I'd
happily apply for a job! I own a wonderful DeNeve and a lot of Sho-Bros, a nice
old 8 string OMI, etc. so I'm certainly not in the market for another guitar!
However........ IF I WAS........the Auldridge-Beard would be my choice, hands
down! Those instruments have "the sound", for sure.
Good to hear from you Charlie Campbell, and I agree completely with everything
you said!!! I've heard and played four different Auldridge-Beard instruments and
they're hard to beat. You can spend (invest) a helluva lot more money, but it's
hard to find a better sounding instrument. I don't care if it's laminate, black,
white, or PINK even.......the sound is the main reason to buy any instrument. If
it sounds good to you.......problem solved, buy the thing.
My 2 cts. worth,
Richie
ps, "twangin" does sound better on a Auldridge-Beard.....honest!
pps, with regards to concerns about the costs of a painted laminate
guitar........ I never "explain" to my friends or family why I do
ANYthing.........and they know better than to ask!
