Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Combo of the two
Date:Tuesday, January 31, 2006  06:41:06 (-0800)
From:Mike Whitney <resonator96 @.....com>

I asked this a few days ago burried in an answer to
another E-mail and no one responded. I just recently
had a reso built for me by Jim Adams with laminated
birch back and sides and a solid curly maple top. I
was wondering how common is it to combine the two? I
thought the top would be pretty while the back and
sides might be a bit stronger and since I wanted the
back and sides stained dark the grain didn't much
matter. Does anyone else own a reso with a solid top
and laminated back and side?
Mike
