Hey Mark,
I would highly recomend Jim Adam's resos. I played
five different models before I ordered mine including
two of the all Birch guitars and all where excellent.
When I met Jim he told me he had just purchased a nice
piece of curly maple that he though would make a
beautiful top. We talked about what it might sound
like on a laminated back and sides. After thinking
about it for a couple of weeks I called him up and
told him to build it for me. The top is natural with a
herringbone trim, dark side and back, walnut fret
board, Quarterman cone, Beard spider,
coverplate, tailpiece and tuners and a TLK archtoped
case. It's built with soundpost and baffels and sounds
great. I admit I haven't played alot of different high
end guitars to compare it to but to me it's perfect.
Satisfied
Mike
