"Steel Guitar Rag" is the song that immediately pops to mind when I
think of D tuning.  Also , just about anything that Mississippi Fred
MCDowell ever did ("61 Highway", "Write Me a Few of Your Lines", "My
Baby", etc.).  Actually, D tuning is really good for the blues in
general.
