Howdy groovy Dudes and Dudettes,
Poking my nose in here (as list subsriptions have surged about 5% since
Xmas) and perform my semi-occasional "welcome" to the newbies.
Hard to believe, but, the list has been around since 1997 and is the
oldest I-net resource for lapstyle resonator guitars. I'd like to think
it's had staying power because of it's relevance and friendly subscribers.
So...my mantra is "ask questions". We never seem to tire of the old
standby questions and there is so much innovation going on that it's
hard to keep pace with all the new stuff.
My only plea...Is to keep the CONTENT relevant. I encourage long time
subscribers to review list policies by sending a blank email to
resoguit-l-help@elistas.com . It's essentially identical to the 1997
"welcome" message.

Believe it or not...I don't read every post. Drop me a line if you're
bugged by something on the list and I'll check into it.
Speaking of resoguit.com...Yeah, I'm behind in my updates, but, it still
has loads of great info, including years of archives that are
searchable. Also, The list archives at Topica.com are still up and
running at http://lists.topica.com/lists/resoguit-l/read . So, you've
got almost the entire history of resoguit-l at your disposal. Just
search on "Auldridge" and you'll learn how to play the guitar :-)
