Like Larue,

I'm not a computer "geek", so I have NO CLUE as to what shows when I post
something on this list! I apologize (this one time only!) for anyone I should
offend if I should happen to forget to clean up my posts.

I consider Poob's list "the" premo list-source-of-info. when it comes to
reso-guitar. The list's longevity is testimonial to that! I consider it a
priviledge even, to share with you all, what little I've learned about this nutty
instrument we're all so involved with. I learn from all of you, and I thank you
again, for shareing your thoughts and especially your knowledge with me and
everyone "aboard" here.

We have list-members from all walks of life and all fields of music on here. We
have musicians like St. Mike, "Uncle" Phil, Tut Taylor, Jim Warren, (who Dick
DeNeve recently revealed, is at least 15 deg. East of the rest of us, wowza!!),
and occasionally we hear from Jr. Barber and Roger Williams. We have teachers
like Jimmy Heffernan, and Stacy Phillips. We have luthiers like Dick DeNeve
who's probably forgotten more about building these instruments than most of us
will ever know. We have Dewey Slide Well who is a fountain of knowledge on these
guitars. We have Charlie Campbell who knows what Dewy has forgotten. I
understand Paul Beard doesn't like the internet, but we have "beardbizguy" aka
"Poob", who OWNS this list we all get so much info from. Hell, we even in
a sense, have a "hot line" into the Beard shops.......( hey Howard, who do I call
to inquire about Larue's "baby" again??).....geez!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel the benefits I reap from
monitoring this list are worth far more than the occasional scrolling thru
duplicate postings, which most of, I'm sure are in error.

"Netiquette", I have none, hell I'm not sure I even spell it correctly, but if
I should happen to forget to "clean up" a post, it certainly isn't done
deliberately, rest assured of that.

Now can we get back to sharing info about our favorite instrument please? Like
when is Larue's guitar gonna be ready? Larry is gonna dust it for Paul's
fingerprints as soon as he unwraps it from what I understand? How long has it
been now Larry??

Twangs,
Richie Chiasson
