It works quite nicely. D tuning is better but you can do it in G tuning. There's
tab that I did for Brad on Brad's Page of Steel years ago for at least the
verse. I don't know the precise URL. Just substitute the top two strings in G
tuning for the 3rd and 2nd strings of D tuning (the 6th stays the same). If
you're comfortable with reverse slants, it's a shoe-in.
