I have had good results by keeping my picks in one of those
orange prescription medicine bottles. It's big enough to hold
three fingerpicks and an extra thumbpick and it still fits
inside the little leather pouch that holds my bar. Since I've
been using that (about a year now) I have not had a single
squashed pick.
