Mary - thanks for going to the effort to help me find possible reso related
stuff while I'm in town. FYI - I am familiar with the Mardi Gras season and
goings on down there. Actually we have a large contingency of New Orleans folks
up here. Last party of Mardi Gras (prior to Fat Tuesday) is Saturday at a
friend's house a couple blocks from my house. The King Cake will be arriving from
Gambinos with time to spare.
My father grew up in Baton Rouge (BRHS class of 1956 or so). My wife grew up in
New Orleans. The last 6 months have been gut wrenching for anyone with ties to
LA.
Anyway - I do appreciate you help, but need to let you know, I won't be
travelling with a reso. Just looking for possible shows on Friday or Saturday -
or possible stores or places to check out a reso or two. If nothing materializes
- that's OK - I'm glad to me back in Louisiana no matter what.
