Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Dobro with dented, crushed bedraggled cone...
Date:Saturday, March 25, 2006  00:32:07 (-0500)
From:charles morris <charlz47 @.....ca>

Thanx to all who chipped in with advice on cones..I
took the Dobro to a jam session tonight and it won't
even hold its own with another guitar, much less a full
jam..around here at home the volume seems fairly loud
but get it among other instruments and it's like
playing a powder puff.I may try a Beard cone,maybe a
Quarterman too,see which one sounds best.I don't know
that birdseye maple was the best choice for bridge
saddles,but it's what I had available..
