Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] Acoustic Amps
Date:Monday, April 3, 2006  14:36:33 (-0400)
From:Jim Norman <jim99 @.........net>

Hey,

Thanks to everybody who weighed in on my question about acoustic amps and
sound reinforcement. I appreciate all your comments and suggestions. One
thing I haven't heard about is whether these acoustic amps will work as dual
mic rigs. See, what 3 out of 4 of us would be doing is using the XLR mic
input for a vocal mic and the line input for an instrument mic, since we're
not equipped with pickups. I know some of the line input electronics on
some of these things are designed specifically for piezo pickups. Is it
feasible or reasonable to even think about using 2 mics with an acoustic
amp?

Thanks,
Jim N. (who's is neither feasible nor reasonable)
