Thanks Mike, et al.
I figured the plating was rather thin. Early on, I'd just put my bar in my
pocket along with my truck keys, loose change and drinkin' money (coke only,
so I don't offend). That, and dropping it a few times, it got to where it
felt scratchy on the strings. I've already replaced it, and I've learned to
use the sleave it came in, but figured I'd keep a back-up bar handy.
