I learned a trick from Andy Hall at this year's Joe Val festival. He uses
fiddle rosin, ground up into a fine "powder". I shaved down a block into an old
film canister and it works great!

For my finer picks, I use PRO-GRIP Non-Slip Grip Cream. Bowlers use it, I
hear. Works good. Never needed it on the banjo or pedal steel, but do om the reso
especailly the index finger.

Well Dang!! Bathtub tape!! Whooda thunk it!! Here I "discovered" sticky
backed 200 grit sandpaper here back a month or so ago for my extremely
slippery Sheerhorn steel.
