Wow!
Somehow I missed this when it first showed up on the list. I get behind in
emails on occasion, and don't have as much time as I'd like to download
everything, but this tribute to Don Knotts was recently re-forwarded to me and
it's awesome.
Like "The Flintstones", it's about the last thing you'd expect to hear out of a
Reso-guitar, but wait, while I agree and love the "classic" early styles of
playing "dobro", the musicians and the luthiers with the more modern sounds are
pushing "dobro" where you'd never have expected it to go, as recently as 10 or 15
years back.
I'm just glad to kind of be along for the ride! Nice job Mike, keep up the good
work,
