Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] Acoustic Amps

Jim,

Look at Musiciansfriend.com, and scroll down the left
column to packaged PA systems. They list several in
the $400-$750 range with 4 or more inputs. Most
inputs will accept either an XLR (i.e. low impedence
microphone) or 1/4 inch RCA (instrument and/or hiogh
impedence microphone) plug. Many have a switch to
allow low level (like a microphone or pick-up) or high
level (like a pre-amp) input. Some also have
switchable phantom power to some inputs, in case you
want to use a consenser microphone. 200 watts or more
should be adequate for a couple of thousand square
feet, 80-100 people or so.

The usual disclaimers.
