Get a copy of the CD "Resocasters".  Mike Auldridge, Jimmy Heffernan, Hal Rugg
(RIP).  Hal plays the Ped-A-Bro (and how!).  There are pictures on the insert. 
It's basically a D9 tuned 10-string pedal steel with a cone resonator.  You can
get the CD from Jimmy's or Mike's websites.  Bunch of other great artists on the
tracks, too.
