Hi Axel
if Wayne's solution doesn't work out then try these guys from London: http://www.resocentre.com/index.php
and you still won't have to deal with customs, just shipping.

Axel;
Give Rudiger Helbig down in Munich a call
http://www.folkladen.de/index2.html He has a large inventory of acoustic
instruments including Dobros of various manufacture including Johnson.
Rudy is also a performing musician and can well advise you about the all
questions you ask.
He won't remember me, it was a very long time ago, but tell him Wayne sent
you and that Rolf sends his regards.. Rudy will take good care of you and
you don't have to hassle with customs and shipping costs.
