Tex shows that there is more than one way to approach the acoustic
hawaiian guitar. His playing was peppy, if a little on the minimalist
side, kinda in line with Bob Dunn . His locomotive and marching feet
effects are inspirational.
If it was about cuttin' heads, many players on this list would smoke
him, but he still was very entertaining, which is what the job consists
of. He's one of my heroes.
