Hiya List,
I just got back from Pemi Valley Bluegrass Festival where I got to see and
listen to "Beartracks", which consists of Jr. Barber and his two cousins, Julie
Venne Hogan, and her brother, Tom Venne.
"Beartracks" is proudly displaying their new "mascot" a large stuffed black
bear, about the size of a healthy Great Dane,, that one of their fans gave them.
WOULD YOU BELIEVE.......an older "gentle manly type" of reso-player, doubtlessy
driven temporarily insane by Juniors tasty melodies and absolute command of the
instrument.....actually picked this Bear up.....and ran off with it!!!This, while
the band was onstage and temporarily helpless to defend their new mascot.
The culprit made a point of running right across in front of the stage, smack in
the middle of one of the lovely Julie Venne Hogan's vocals.
The NERVE of some of these older de-generate types......sheesh!!
