I don't think so on being collectively "had"? I do the set up on my own guitars
and am very much into experimenting and learning, as time permits, and if indeed
the radius of an embroidery hoop is matching up with a damaged or messed up
soundwell on a cheapo imported guitar......why not use it to correct what the
manufacturer....(note I did not say builder).....screwed up?
April's Fool's Day, as far as I know is still on April 10th?
