I was beginning to think the same thing.... whats wrong with the RESOGUIT
list??
I look forward to many of the informative emails.
Something new I noticed this past week after watching Mike Auldridge on his
video courses.
I never noticed his hand on the palmrest... ever.
To me thats strange for a dobro player. I can understand why Mike does since
he plays so much steel too. After watching him and wanting to emulate more
of his style into my playing I attempt to practice hand off the palmrest,
but its not easy. Its a lot easier (lazy?) to leave it on the palmrest.
Having the hand off the palmrest also brings your hand closer to the neck
and changing the tone.
I will presume now that most dobro players on this list that play steel
probably adopt this style also. True??
