has a removable bridge cover on their coverplates. I find that especially useful
and I applaud them heartily for that innovation. It gives me access to a wider
range of tone from the strings and even allows me to put my palm right on the
bridge to get a thuddy plunk out of the strings in rare occasion that I want
that sound. I keep the coverplate strap off all the time unless I'm traveling
extensively with a gig bag. Then I'll put it back on when I put the guitar in
its gig bag and stow it in the overhead compartment of a plane.
