Hi Wally and listers,

Actually, the last sq. neck Sho-Bro I picked up, "Sophie", was made without a
handrest on the coverplate. This is not a "custom alteration", this coverplate
was actually MADE without a hand rest. It's kinda neat once you get used to it,
as it allows blocking, etc. This particular instrument also has a slightly wider
neck and a ONE PIECE bridge insert. The tension screw is just ahead of the
bridge on the tailpiece side with it's own little indentation in the coverplate's
bridge slot. I feel this inst. could've either ended up as a 6, or a 7 string
guitar, depending what was atop the order pile when it neared completion.
Interesting huh?

Hope I've described this accurately, and it does make string changing easier.

Twangs,
Richie
