Thanks for correcting me Randy. Like I said, there are so many "tweaks" that
can be done, it hardly leaves any time for woodshedding does it? Hey it was
great seeing you and Bobby Wolfe at Thomas Point. How's that pretty reso with
the turquoise inlays doing? I left a bit of my soul behind with that
thing.........sigh.
My "Blackie" DeNeve which sounds like a CANNON, has gradually developed some
"extra space" between the palm rest and the top of the bridge inserts, and
I'd suspect a very, oh so slight degree of cone sinking has occured over the (has
it been 4 years already, yikes!) time that I've owned her. More like cone
SETTLING as compared to actually sinking...... Anyways there's room for taller
bridge inserts so one of these days.......who knows?
You make a good point Randy, in comparing the hardness of the cone's alloy
between the older stamped cones and the newer brighter quartermans.
So many variables......but I still don't miss that big ol Peavey amp....it was
heavier than me!!
Twangs......geezer twangs even,
Richie
