gauge either nickel silver or plated brass. He bed blasts the inside so
that they are virtually slip free. The cobalt is so hard and slick and
smooth that pick noise is a thing of the past. He used to Cobalt your own
favorite set, be they Nationals, Dunlops, Shelors etc. I don't know if he
still does that. He did cobalt plate my GS-1 bar also. Very smooth very
slick..
