Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] Dopyera Collection Foundation, re-format

Anyone know why the International Bluegrass Music Museum
(http://www.bluegrass-museum.org/) isn't grabbing the collection? I'm sure
they have to be aware of it. Anyone know if they just simply decided to pass
it up?

I mean, I'm willing to do some legwork on whatever it might take to get and
house the collection, but not if I'm going to be in the middle of a bidding
war with someone like them. They already have the resources, clearly they
have the facility to display the collection, and it just doesn't make sense
to bid against them when this would seem like a logical place for it to
reside anyhow. Then again, I've never visited the Museum, so maybe I'm just
making some assumptions that aren't true.

By way of starting my homework, is there anyone in particular at Elderly
that would be best to talk to about this? Like I said, I'm willing (and have
some time to devote to it) to at least start the process to see how viable
it might be, but help/guidance would be nice if there are any suggestions
out there.
