Hey, will you Right Coasters hold it DOWN back there? <grin>

All I got left in MY season is this:

http://www.livefromauburn.com/bluegrass/bgp.htm

N I'm DARNED glad to have it too . . . we'll get a room so we don't hafta drive
off the hill
even though it's only an hour or so out . . . . sides, there may be a hotel or
campground I
can ambush a few reso players in if I keep my ears open . . . lolololol

A great lineup, and if anyone hasn't heard the F-150's, and if ya can please do
so, they are
wonderful!!! I saw them last year at one of their first gigs . . . . here's a
cut n paste of some
of their info, I can't find a website yet . . .

<beginreview>

Bluegrass F-150's

With regularity, The West Coast seems to produce a new bluegrass band with all
the right
elements. It's happened again. This time it's the F-150's. With Bruce Johnson on
fiddle,
Steve Spurgin on bass, Charlie Edsall on guitar, and Hal Horn on banjo, these
guys bring a
combined professional experience of over 140 years to the stage! Their bios read
like
musical history, and their performance proves it. The vocals are dynamic and
powerful, just
like the playing. The music runs from a classic bluegrass sound to a more
acoustic
Americana that the west coast is famous for. The buzz started immediately, and
with good
reason. Expect a fast paced show with wit, energy and originality. The F-150's -
"Pick 'Em
Up" Bluegrass.

<endreview>

Some of you listers will know that Steve Spurgin has LONG been a part of things
done with
Bryon Berline, Dan Crary, John Hickman, and many others . . . .

Of course, the ONLY reason I'm goin is cuz Mountain Laurel is playing. <wink>

And folks, if you haven't bought their cd "Trouble At The Mine", then yer missin
on some
GREAT left coast home grown music and some sweet reso work, too . . .<grin>

<smile>

Pick One, Pork Some, Pick One, Pork Some, TWANG, let the belt out a notch . . .
