Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] Josh tributes at IBMA

There were two tributes to Uncle Josh at IBMA. During the Saturday afternoon
workshop, Randy, LeRoy, Andy and Kim played a bunch of Josh tunes in tribute.

And during the last show of the evening, the "Legends" set which featured
Everett Lilly and Curly Seckler (and was to have included Josh himself), Randy
Kohrs organized a portion of the set as a tribute.

Randy Kohrs, LeRoy McNees, Ferrell Stowe, Rob Ickes, Andy Hall, Kim Gardner,
Phil Leadbetter, and Josh Swift (? have I got the name right? Somebody help me
out here) played "Fireball" and "Flatt Lonesome" in tandem. It was a sonic
experience, I assure you, definitely qualifying as heavy metal. Bryan Sutton,
Mike Bub, and Aubrey Haynie as backup band. Unfortunately, the memory card in
my camera maxed out right about at this point, so I got no pictures of this
historic event.

I'm betting there'll be more tributes (of some kind) to come. Oh, and *every*
jam session at this thing had a dobro in it. I suppose that's a tribute of
sorts right there...
