Different DeNeve. Let's name names here: it was TOM FOOTE who had
the nerve to show up emptyhanded at the dobro party, leaving his
DeNeve guitar (which had been dreaming about the party all year...)
back in his hotel room, apparently just four floors away. Then, it
was TOM FOOTE who, when prodded, said he would go back and get the
guitar so there would be a DeNeve represented in the room, but never
did. Instead, he was seen loitering on the sofa, nonchalantly cutting
slices off an apple. The DeNeve, alas, never made it to the party.
