Well put. Josh invented a "vocabulary" for the instrument that
persists and flourishes to this day, very much like Earl Scruggs and
Bill Monroe did for the 5-string b*njo and the mandolin.
It's safe to say that many or most of us would be doing something
very different today, were it not for Josh.
I'm very glad to have had the chance to meet him and tell him, too.
