Ok, speaker cabinet gurus:
Is the traditional diameter (or area covered) of two round holes based in some
bass-reflex speaker cabinet acoustic logic?
Is the area of the openings of the four f-holes the same as the area of two
round holes? If so, the same amount of air would be moved in/out. Correct?
Or is the four f-holes simply more decorative than rtwo round ones? (And I
won't touch the new stylish nonscreened holes benefits).
What fun! I'll never discount the genius of the Dopyeras.

I was also testing a bit, the 4 F-holes let a lot of sound come out of the
body, I have to wonder if that was what Rudy was after when he put all of them
there.
