Subject:[RESOGUIT-L] graphite

Hello wise list participants,

I was talking with my wife about our instruments. She said that whenever she
changes a string on her fiddle, she rubs a pencil in the slot in the bridge. The
graphite helps lubricate the string so the bridge slot doesn't wear as fast. Is
this something I should be doing with the reso?

Thanks,

Dan in RI
